Lurrie Brights Vintage Cotton Hand Knotted Rug

Lurrie Brights Vintage Cotton Hand Knotted Rug

£495.00Price

Bright as you like!  Wow, the colours in this hand knotted cotton Luri tribal rug are nearly unbelievable - that's the cotton pile for you.  The tribes can achieve much brighter, nearly neon colours (in comparison to wool) when dying their organic cotton.  The result is a magically unique design that a modern suface designer of today would be very proud of!  This Luri rug was woven in the Zagros Mountains in southwestern Persia nearly 60 years ago.

Choosing a vintage rug is not just a style choice. It’s an investment in your future - and the future of our planet. Our hand-knotted vintage rugs are a classic piece to showcase your personality and bring your interior spaces to life with pops of bright colour and intense patterns. And you’re doing your bit to keep unique, hard-working, quality rugs in circulation, the ultimate in re-usability.

Unlike our handwoven vintage rugs, these are hand-knotted to deliver a 10mm thick luxury pile, perfect for warming up bare feet or adding extra comfort to a wooden or tiled floor.
