While out & about sourcing vintage rugs Sarah selects individual smaller pieces that work beautifully as original pieces of art.  It's hard to leave any behind, but only the most statement and characterful tapestries are chosen!  This captivating oriental kilim was selected for the alluring colour pallette, particularly the two pink arrows, and the fine finish of the weave.  The varied length base tassles are an absolute delight, as is the  ochre hue that runs through the whole piece, radiating a feeling of warmth and historic charm.
 
Sarah adds contrast cylinder distressed wooden batons, coloured in Edward Bulmer plastic free paint.  The resulting art is completely unique, and will never be seen in another home.  The wall hangings can be hung as a statement on their own, or amongst a mix of styles of art to create an eclectic wall decor scheme.
