While out & about sourcing vintage rugs Sarah selects individual smaller pieces that work beautifully as original pieces of art.  It's hard to leave any behind, but only the most statement and characterful tapestries are chosen!  This wonderfully weighty saddle bag front kilim was selected for its abundance of texture and interesting form.  The plated tassles are an an added bonus :)
 
Sarah adds contrast cylinder distressed wooden batons, coloured in Edward Bulmer plastic free paint.  The resulting art is completely unique, and will never be seen in another home.  The wall hangings can be hung as a statement on their own, or amongst a mix of styles of art to create an eclectic wall decor scheme.
